We are hiring a Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise security architecture with a strong focus on process development, network defense, access control, and data protection. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable security processes, designing resilient firewall strategies, managing privileged access, and safeguarding sensitive data across the organization. You’ll collaborate with technology and business teams to ensure that security is embedded into infrastructure, applications, and operations from the ground up.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Design and formalize security processes across key domains including incident response, vulnerability management, access control, data protection, and change management.
- Architect and manage enterprise firewall infrastructure to ensure robust perimeter defense, network segmentation, and threat prevention in hybrid/cloud environments.
- Lead the implementation and governance of Privileged Access Management (PAM) to secure administrative accounts and enforce least-privilege principles across systems.
- Develop and enforce data security policies, including data classification, encryption standards, and secure data handling across storage, transit, and cloud services.
- Architect security controls for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure), ensuring secure configuration, access management, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security controls into new deployments and ongoing operations.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling for infrastructure projects and new applications.
- Define and maintain technical security standards aligned with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and internal risk appetite.
- Evaluate and implement security technologies including firewalls, PAM, data loss prevention (DLP), SIEM, and encryption tools.
- Provide expert guidance on data governance, access control models, and integration (e.g., AD, Azure AD, SSO, MFA).
- Partner with compliance, legal, and audit teams to support internal and external audits, regulatory obligations, and risk assessments.
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor, helping to cultivate a strong security engineering culture across the organization.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in information security, including at least 2 years in a security architect or senior engineering role.
- Proven experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco) and PAM platforms (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Microsoft PIM).
- Strong background in data security, including encryption, tokenization, data classification frameworks, and DLP implementation.
- Experience designing and securing cloud environments, with a solid understanding of cloud security services and multi-cloud governance.
- Deep understanding of access control models (RBAC, ABAC), federation, and cloud providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
- Industry certifications : CISSP, CCSP, CISA, or vendor-specific security credentials.

The Anticipated Salary Range for this position:
$140,000 - $170,000
Network has established a salary range for this position based on a combination of market data, industry standards and specific requirements of the role. The actual starting salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills and abilities.
In addition, to base salary, Network associates are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement contributions, opportunities for career growth and professional development.
