Customs Entry & Classification Specialist (LCB ) -- Hybrid/Remote

About the role

Recruiting on behalf of our client (established customs brokerage/freight forwarder). We’re hiring two hands-on specialists to support import compliance and day-to-day brokerage operations. LCB but not required. This is an individual contributor role (not management).

What you’ll do

• Perform HTS/HTSUS classification and research; document guidance (ADD/CVD; Sections 301/232)
• Advise on PGA/OGA matters: TSCA, Lacey Act, FDA, USDA, FWS, and Steel/Aluminum Licensing
• Write and assist entries; ensure ISF, eManifest, AMS compliance
• Stay current on import regulations and respond promptly to issues
• Partner with the brokerage team to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What you bring

• 5+ years brokerage/classification experience
• LCB , or strong hands-on background in entries & classification
• Proficiency with ACE/ABI; familiarity with ISF/eManifest/AMS
• Detail-oriented, reliable, ethical; excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to have

• Protests, PSC, Prior Disclosures; C-TPAT/TSA exposure
• Commodity breadth: textiles, steel, aluminum, office products, chemicals, food, watches
• FTZ and warehouse entries (in/out); Microsoft Word/Excel; exposure to CF7512
