Kenmore Air is an iconic company dedicated to its employees and customers! Serving the Pacific Northwest for 75 years, we provide scenic tours, scheduled service and charters. We also operate two airplane maintenance facilities, sell airplane parts and provide flight instruction.

We are looking for a full time Customer Service/Station Supervisor to perform a variety of job responsibilities at our Seattle/Lake Union terminal. This position is committed to serving our customers and each other with exceptional friendliness, honesty, fairness and pride!

Job Responsibilities

  • Creates a welcoming atmosphere for our passengers
  • Provides excellent customer service over the phone, in person or via email
  • Oversees customer service agents to ensure quality, accurate and friendly communications
  • Oversees the safe, on-time boarding of passengers for all inbound and outbound flights
  • Ensures that all customer service agents are proficient in using our reservation system for all incoming calls as well as walk-in’s
  • Manages Lake Union station for headcount, efficiency, disciplinary actions and hiring of employees
  • Point of contact for any customer complaints, incidents or accidents
  • Schedules staff year-round and seasonal customer service agents. Work with VP of Customer Experience and Outstation Manager to ensure we have adequate staffing for vacation and/or sick coverage
  • Keeping up to date on flight operations, schedule changes in order to pass on to Agents
  • Approves all customer service time cards each pay period and make any necessary edits so payroll can be closed timely
  • Facility management, to include coordinating daily janitorial activities, and logging maintenance tasks with the facility team
  • Fuel system supervision, to include obtaining an A/B Operator Certificate, overseeing fuel deliveries, performing regular inspections, and reporting any irregularities to the facility team
  • Miscellaneous projects and or tasks

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School diploma, some college
  • Supervisory experience required preferably in customer service
  • Previous airline experience a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. This position will primarily be scheduled Thursday through Monday.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiasm and the willingness to handle any challenges with professionalism
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Experience with computers and phone systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds at check-in and aircraft loading
  • Long periods of standing, sitting, and walking may occur
  • Working in periodic inclement weather

Salary Range: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
