Job Title: Customer Service Specialist
Location: 557 NE Westbrook Way, Grants Pass, OR 97526
Work Type: 100% Onsite (Possible Hybrid in Future)
Time Zone: Pacific Time
Work Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Assignment Type: Temporary (Potential Temp-to-Perm)
Position Overview
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will represent Nassau OOGP Vision Group and ensure customers receive exceptional service. You will handle inbound calls, process orders, respond to inquiries, and maintain professionalism and accuracy in every customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and chat channels.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude with customers at all times.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of company products, promotions, and services.
- Ensure one-call resolution whenever possible.
- Record and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and managers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Attend and actively engage in team meetings.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
Performance Goals
- Quality Assurance: 90% rating on calls/emails/chat interactions
- Transactions per Hour: 8 transactions/hour (6 for chat)
- Availability: 85% minimum (limit unnecessary offline time)
- Answered Interactions: 99% of interactions answered
- Attendance: Compliant with company attendance policy
- Training: Completion of assigned training and action steps
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Typing speed: Minimum 35 WPM
- 10-key proficiency (by touch)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional email and chat communication etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
