A Customer Service Sales Technician is a skilled professional who provides on-site technical support, installation, and maintenance services to clients at their various locations, rather than a central office. At Cogent, this person manages the relationship with some of our current healthcare customers.  Onsite visits are used to assess where to place technology, determine how clinicians will access the devices, and establish which vendors offer the best product to achieve the outcome.  Using the customers choices, a quote for product & labor is created.  This role requires strong construction expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication. 

 

What You’ll Do

·         Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing hospital clients.

·         Problem solve and analyze complex issues and independently develop effective mounting solutions

·         Install wall mounted evaluation units

·         Promote Cogent installation and service options

·         Respond to and manage customer requests while identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.

·         Conduct facility walk-throughs and prepare proposals/quotes using Cogent software within profitability margins.

·         Organize customer visits, presentations, and lunch & learns.

·         Ensure Cogent’s brand and value are clearly conveyed at all times.

·         Maintain detailed, accurate records in our CRM

·         Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote our solutions.

 

What You Bring

·         2+ years construction supervision experience (healthcare ). Workstation / medical cart knowledge and expert is a huge plus!

·         2+ years account management or B2B sales experience (healthcare )

·         Working knowledge of mechanical systems, construction practices, or IT infrastructure  and low-voltage installation is a strong plus

·         Comfortable communicating with technicians, vendors, and clients in both field and office settings

·         Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field ( but not essential).

·         Proven success in face-to-face customer service and relationship management.

·         Strong understanding of the sales process and project management principles.

·         Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

·         Touch typing speed of 55+ WPM.

·         Microsoft Office Suite and CRM proficiency.

·         Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

·         Able to lift demonstration equipment (up to 60 lbs.) and walk extensively in hospital facilities.

·         Willingness to travel overnight up to 15% on a cyclical basis.

·         Strong problem-solving skills and situational awareness in dynamic project environments
