Summary:
Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will be responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services, processing customer phone orders, checking availability of stock and shipping dates, quoting prices, filling order to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer, assisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products.
Responsibilities of the
Customer Service Representative - Bearing and Power Transmission
include, but are not limited to:
Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
Processing customer phone and e-mail orders
Checking availability of stock and shipping dates
Quoting prices, filling orders to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer
Assisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products
Assisting with warehouse duties when needed
Qualifications of the
Customer Service Representative - Bearing and Power Transmission include, but are not limited to:
1+ year (s) of experience in electrical, hydraulics, pumps, bearings and power transmission, MRO, cutting tools and /or safety products
Knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills
Should be attentive and possess a high drive to learn new product lines
Prior inside sales/customer service experience
Data entry skills, organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is required
Regular in-person attendance required
