- Review system logs, environmental data, and operational parameters to pinpoint root causes and define corrective actions.
- Guide contractors or customers through remote or on-site troubleshooting procedures.
- Ensure all service cases are tracked, documented, and closed accurately and on time.
- Provide professional, transparent communication that builds customer trust and satisfaction.
Technical Analysis & Troubleshooting

- Collaborate with internal product design and quality teams to validate findings and implement fixes.
- Deliver structured, accurate reporting that supports continuous product improvement.
System Knowledge & Field Collaboration
- Develop deep understanding of containerized energy storage systems, including fire suppression, HVAC, and thermal management.
- Support troubleshooting when container-level systems affect battery operations.
- Interface with engineering, operations, and field technicians to ensure consistent and effective support.
- Provide design feedback to improve system reliability and maintainability.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain detailed service documentation, analysis results, and lessons learned.
- Contribute to internal troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and service training materials.
- Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback loops and continuous improvement programs.
- Promote best practices in safety, documentation, and technical readiness.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all EHS, electrical, and site safety procedures during field and remote support.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of high-voltage DC systems and PPE standards.
- Support safety reviews and encourage proactive risk awareness.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3–8 years of experience in energy-storage, renewable power, or industrial service engineering.
- Strong understanding of BESS architecture, including modules, racks, thermal management, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, data logs, and system alarms.
- Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple service cases or projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with high-voltage DC safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically up to 40%.
Qualifications
- Experience with containerized or integrated BESS solutions (HVAC, thermal, fire systems).
- Background in lithium-ion battery technology and understanding of associated risks and failure modes.
- Exposure to Power Conversion Systems (PCS) and grid interconnection principles.
- Familiarity with structured problem-solving (5 Whys, FMEA, Fishbone).
- Prior experience with renewable energy systems (PV, wind, or hybrid).
- Safety certifications such as OSHA 30 or NFPA 70E.
Why Join?
- Be part of a growing global leader in renewable energy and energy storage innovation.
- Gain exposure to cutting-edge BESS technology used in large-scale commercial and utility projects.
- Enjoy a direct-hire, full-time position with excellent growth potential.
