Job Description
Customer Operations Manager \n Salary: £46,000 (with some flex)\n Location: Leeds (hybrid working 2-3 days)\n\nWe're excited to be recruiting for a Customer Operations Manager to join a leading FMCG organisation within their Supply Chain team.\n\nThis is a key role managing day-to-day supply chain operations, leading a small team, and overseeing relationships with a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider. You'll support wider business strategy, drive process improvement, and foster collaboration across teams.\n\nYou'll report to the Head of Supply Chain and manage three direct reports within the supply chain team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead and implement operational and process improvements across the supply chain.\nManage relationships with 3PL partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.\nDrive efficiency, innovation, and best practice within day-to-day operations.\nOversee demand, inventory, and order management to ensure service excellence.\nChampion continuous improvement and build a culture of collaboration and accountability.\nSupport the delivery of wider supply chain strategy and performance goals.Skills required:\n\nExperience in leading operations or supply chain teams within FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar environment.\nProven track record in driving process improvement and delivering measurable results.\nStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels.\nConfident using Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or ERP systems desirable (training provided).\nProactive, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
