We are recruiting a Critical Services Shift Technician-mechanical bias to join the team in London.\n \nAbout the Role:\n \nAs a CBRE Critical Services Technician, you will resolve and complete day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction targets and ensure completion in the time frame required.\n \nThis job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.\n \nPlease note: This is a continental shift pattern.\n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\nQualify and act as an appointed Authorized Person (AP) within 6 months from onboarding.\n \nMaintain an up-to-date log of work completed and outstanding items through the in-house system.\n \nEnsure that all contractors and staff comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements.\n \nParticipate in the critical services training program.\n \nEnsure effective communication with the client and management team is maintained.\n \nOperate as a team with other technicians by sharing expertise and experience to help resolve operational problems.\n \nProvide holiday, training & sickness cover for other members of the shift team.\n \nTrack and complete Critical Services Planned Preventative Maintenance and provide condition assessments of plant and equipment.\n \nLog and action all out-of-line situations with incident reports.\n \nUse existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.\n \nImpact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.\n \nDeliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.\n\nRole Requirements:\n \nSkills:\n \nEssential-\n\nGood technical & faultfinding skills\n \nEducated to a minimum of City & Guilds in Electrical (or HNC)\n \nExcellent administrative skills\n \nComputer literate\n \nHighly conversant in Microsoft Office suite\n \nStrong interpersonal and communication skills\n \nProcedure writing\n \nDesirable-\n \nApprenticeship (or equivalent programme in Electrical / Mechanical Installation).\n \nReport writing\n\nKnowledge:\n \nEssential-\n \nExcellent knowledge of the operation of Mechanical & Electrical Services\n \nAbility to interrogate and operate BMS systems\n \nKnowledge of business-critical services i.e., UPS, Generators and Comms Rooms etc\n\nDesirable-\n \n18th Edition IEE regs\n \nHV Trained\n\nAptitude:\n \nEssential-\n \nMust be able to work under own initiative.\n \nHigh level of personal integrity\n \nTakes ownership of issues and ensures completion.\n \nAble to organize and manage own workload.\n \nGood communication skills both verbal and written to all seniority levels.\n \nUnderstanding of customer needs and standards.\n \nPresentable and smart always\n \nSelf motivated with drive to exceptional service\n \nIncumbents must have a high level of energy, confident and stable in manner.\n \nOrganised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments.\n \nCommitted to the delivery of excellent customer service.
