Crane/Winch Mechanic

The crane/winch mechanic will:
- Provide emergency/unscheduled equipment repairs and scheduled maintenance repairs.
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Required:
- High school diploma (college courses )
- Knowledge about basic and specialty tools and test instruments
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Decision-making and troubleshooting abilities
- Understand ship repair/building industry legal and commercial requirements
- Planned and unplanned travel
- US work authorization
