Crane Supervisor in EX4, Huxham, Devon

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Crane Supervisor to join a major construction project.

Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year's experience working as a Crane Supervisor on construction projects.

* Valid CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor card.

* IPAF 3a & 3b certification is essential.

* Good understanding of BS7121, LOLER and lifting operations.

* Ability to read and work from lifting plans and RAMS.

* Strong communication and leadership skills.

* Experience coordinating crane operators, slinger/signallers and site teams.

* Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise all lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans.

* Coordinate lifting activities with site management, crane operators and subcontractors.

* Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure all personnel understand the lifting operation.

* Monitor lifting activities to ensure compliance with BS7121, LOLER and site procedures.

* Inspect lifting accessories and ensure certification is in date.

* Maintain exclusion zones and monitor site conditions throughout lifting operations.

* Stop any unsafe lifting activities and implement corrective actions where required.

* Complete all relevant lifting documentation and reports.

* Promote a positive health and safety culture across the site.
