Summary

As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, precise, and efficient operation of cranes and other heavy equipment on site. Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in lifting, moving, and positioning materials to support daily construction activities.

Your expertise in heavy equipment operation will be essential to ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with safety standards and project specifications. Additional skills in mechanical systems and commercial driving will further enhance your ability to perform effectively and contribute to overall site productivity.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who is committed to safety, accuracy, and teamwork. In this role, you will be a key contributor to maintaining operational excellence and ensuring every lift is executed with precision.

Qualifications:

– NCCCO Lattice Crane Certification

Job Duties:

Load/Unload trucks at a warehouse facility in Iowa City, IA. Load/Unload/ trucks at our laydown yard in Cedar Rapids IA.

OUTSIDE: Operate a 90ton RT crane/ 110 lattice boom crawler crane loading/unloading trucks and staging components in laydown area. Rig Loads, run telehandler, be part of the team.

INSIDE: Operate a forklift load/unloading trucks and stage components inside warehouse.

Other duties: inventory, keeping the warehouse clean and clear of debris, and other misc. light duty activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40 per hour DOE

Expected hours: 40 per week
