Crane Operator in Montgomery

CRM is currently hiring an experienced Crane Operator for a commercial construction project in Montgomery, Alabama. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused operator with experience operating various cranes in an active commercial construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Broderson IC-250 Industrial Carry Deck Crane
• Lift, move, position, and place construction materials and equipment
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Follow lift plans and communicate effectively with riggers and signal persons
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
• Work closely with superintendents and other trades to complete daily tasks
• Assist with general job site duties when crane operation is not required

Qualifications

• Previous crane operating experience required
• Valid NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (; required if applicable to project requirements)
• Ability to read and understand load charts
• Knowledge of proper rigging and signaling procedures
• Strong commitment to job site safety
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work as needed
