Role Description This full-time, on-site Crane Operator role is based in Conroe, TX and involves operating cranes and related lifting equipment to move materials safely and efficiently. The Crane Operator will perform daily equipment inspections, set up cranes according to site plans, and coordinate lifts with rigging personnel and site supervisors. Responsibilities include following load charts, monitoring ground conditions, and adhering to all safety regulations and company procedures. The role requires clear communication with signal persons and other crew members, maintaining accurate lift records, and reporting any equipment issues or hazards promptly. The Crane Operator will also assist with basic maintenance tasks and support safe site operations as needed.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in lifting operations, including planning and executing safe, controlled lifts.

• Candidates should possess experience with heavy equipment, including safe operation and awareness of site conditions.

• Candidates should possess knowledge of lifting equipment, such as slings, shackles, and rigging hardware, and their proper use.

• Candidates should possess proficiency in crane operation, with the ability to interpret load charts and follow signals.

\n

• Candidates should possess inspection skills for cranes and lifting equipment, including completing daily pre-use checks.

• Valid crane operator certification or license (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent) and a clean driving record.

\n

• Strong understanding of OSHA and industry safety standards, with a focus on hazard recognition and risk reduction.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift moderate weights, and remain attentive throughout long shifts.

• Effective communication skills, ability to follow directions, and work collaboratively with rigging and site teams.

• Previous experience in crane and rigging operations; high school diploma or equivalent .
