Crane Operator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

PRIMARY FUNCTION: crane operation for lattice boom and hydraulic cranes up to 200 ton.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Responsible for operation of cranes used in heavy lifting.
• Responsible for slings, cables, straps, and the crane prior to lifting operations.
• Responsible for compliance with policy, safety guidelines and procedures that pertain to the crane operator's job (Company and OSHA standards)
• Remains in continual voice (radio), hand and or communication with rigger(s) while operating the crane
• Assures that all lifts are within load limits of equipment and correctly rigged
• Follows correct lock-out and tag procedures
• Shows commitment to safety culture
• Participates in jobsite meetings and safety meetings
• Performs other tasks asassigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• NCCCO Certification required
• 5+ years of experience in heavy constructionpreferred
• Ability to assume responsibility and communicate with others
