Crane Operator

Job Location: Role OverviewOur network of regional workshops support our clients to maximise the efficiency, productivity and safety of their operations.The success of our operations is founded on a team based approach to projects and you will have the opportunity to work together with, and support a range of qualified tradespeople to be successful on all projects.ResponsibilitiesAs a boilermaker your duties will include the fabrication and repair of fixed plant and mobile equipment.This would involve the marking out, cutting, assembly and welding of structural steel, platework and wear components.You will play a key role in reducing plant downtime for clients through the efficient servicing of all machinery and effective fault identificationMaintain a safe and healthy workplaceSkills and Experience Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalentAt least 2 years experience in heavy industry with a background in mining preferredAble to read and understand mechanical and shop detail drawingsExtensive fabrication, repair and maintenance experiencePractical communication, leadership and team building abilitiesRelevant computer literacyAbility to work in remote locationsCurrent WA drivers’ license. A HR License would be advantageous, although not essential
