CPP Commissioning Telecom Lead

We are looking for a CPP Commissioning Telecom Lead for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Ulsan, Korea then Offshore in Qatar

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Oct 2027

Work status: Single, residential in Korea (Rotation 28x28 when offshore)

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Qualification: Bachelor of science (BSc) degree or equivalent in engineering,
• Valid CompEx Training Certificate covering Module EX-01/02/03/04
• Experience: At least 15 years' experience in the offshore oil & gas industry with minimum 10 years' experience in a lead Superintendent role,
• Proven track record of leadership and problem resolution.
• Strong interpersonal and good communication skills,
• Available for technical missions worldwide,
• Experienced with the company Standards, OPERCOM and ICAPS, DCC and relevant codes and standards,
• Language: Fluent English,
• Computer literate,
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
• H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.

Activities

EPCIC Preparation for All Phases

• Ensure proper implementation of all telecom requirement according to the CONTRACT.
• Review the preparation of installation, pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures and reporting tools prepared by contractors (such as but not limited to: including technical database, planning, punch lists control and follow-up of the disciplines concerned). Systems such as PAGA, LAN/Telephone Equipment, UHF/ VHF Radios, CCTV, SART, IMMARSAT will all be part of the Telecom scope.
• Promote safety within the commissioning activities and verify that safety procedures are implemented and followed by CONTRACTOR and COMPANY.
• Maximize onshore commissioning and minimize lost time due to interfaces.
• Coordinate with other project entities / disciplines /existing facilities.
• Ensure that the lists of installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures are fully comprehensive, including Operational Test Procedures.
• Ensure that Prior to TOM preservation and Prior first oil preservation procedures are fully understood and implemented
• Ensure that the Telecom pre-commissioning and commissioning spare parts, consumables equipment, special tools, etc. are sufficient and available in time.
• During the preparation phase, attendance of FAT on as needed basis.

EPCIC Commissioning Execution Phase

• Follow the contractor 's/ Vendor Telecom Pre-commissioning commissioning activities using the
• OPERCOM® Methodology and ICAPS© (Integrated Commissioning and Progress System) software.
• Follow the execution of Telecom activities to achieve Project schedule completion target.
• Supervise the reporting of telecom execution, during different Phases, to ensure that all technical, contractual information are properly recorded, collected and available for inspection/reference as required by law regulations and COMPANY policies.
• Control and follow-up on red line mark-up drawings.
• Control and follow-up on VENDORS activities scope of work activities such as: SAT, OTPs, documents update, Closing of Punch list, reporting.
