POSITION SUMMARY
This positions main function is to provide financial and business analysis to CMIT including budgeting, financial reporting, cost reporting including designing and maintaining accounting systems at CMIT, handling accounts receivable, and other financial related functions at CMIT.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Building and maintaining financial models to support forecasting and budgeting
Analyzing financial results and identifying trends, variances, and key drivers
Preparing reports and dashboards for senior management
Supporting annual budgeting and long-term planning processes
Supporting Month and Year end closer processes with accurate cost entries
Designing and maintaining cost accounting systems and ensuring data integrity
Preparing reports for management to support pricing and profitability decisions
Monthly financial reporting to Executive Director and BRF Finance and Administration
Conducting variance analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Building and maintaining financial models to support business initiatives
Assists with review and compliance with contracts and agreements
General resource to assist staff and others to resolve financial administrative issues
Assists auditors with documents related to departmental financials and operations
Billing for indigent care pursuant to the Professional Service Agreement with Ochsner LSU Health (OLSUH).
Ensures accurate and timely billing and collections of radiopharmaceuticals, contract manufacturing, clinical trials, and research projects
Review/approval of financial hardship applications (non-OLSUH) and bad debt adjustments as needed
Serves on various committees and or work groups throughout CMIT where financial input is required or requested
Any other duties or responsibilities as directed by CMIT leadership

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required. Minimum of three to five years of experience as analyst or accountant. Experience in healthcare a positive. Experience with NetSuite a plus. Combination of education and experience may be considered.
