Cost Estimator

We now have an opportunity for a motivated and suitably qualified Cost Estimator to join our team. Key responsibilities: Lead the preparation of cost estimates for project at various phases; e.g. FEED, detailed design, etc. Prepare and check estimate reports and presentations for the client. Lead the cost interface with the client. Liaise with contractors and vendors for input into estimates. Co-ordinate estimating activities with other disciplines. Attend internal and external project review meetings. Input to project plans and schedules. Identification of scope of work required to undertake a project. Estimation of deliverables and hours required to deliver a project. Owners engineering services. Key competencies, skills and knowledge required: Minimum 5 years relevant cost estimating experience. Engineering degree or relevant industry experience. Understanding of engineering deliverables feeding into a Material Take-Off / Bill of Quantities. Demonstrated capability in one or more of the following industries would be an advantage: Refining, Petrochemical, Fuel Storage Terminals, Sustainable Fuels, Hydrogen. Competent in the use of MS Office applications. Exposure to mentoring of junior team members and apprentices. Commercial and contracts experience.
