Directional Services and Consulting is seeking qualified Core Drillers or helper in the mining industry. Duties include, but are not limited to, use of directional software, use of directional tooling including MWD, some light repair on downhole motors. DSC requires that applicants must have either 3 years working on a core drill or 5 years directional experience. DSC is willing to train qualified applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Track and steer down hole motor using directional software.
- Perform basic repairs on down hole tooling.
- Develop a knowledge of specialized tooling and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling operations effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Follow instructions from team leads and supervisors
- Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project timelines.
Requirements:
- 3 years minimum of core drilling experience or 5 years of directional experience.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driving license without SR 22.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
