Pay Range/details: Competitive salary + shift allowance + bonus

Our client are looking for a Controls System Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team in Leamington Spa. As a Controls System Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising plant manufacturing equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant manufacturing equipment



Program, test, and debug PLC control systems

Troubleshoot and resolve issues on electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems

Maintain and improve plant equipment, including compressors, boilers, fire systems, lighting, and building infrastructure

Ensure maintenance areas are kept clean, safe, and organised

Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment

Carry out health and safety best practices

Qualifications & Requirements - Controls System Maintenance Engineer



Time-served apprentice or equivalent qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering (or recognised international equivalent)

Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of PLC programming and robotic systems

Excellent fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Excellent communication skills

Calm, organised, and resilient under pressure
