Controls System Engineer in Tucson

What You'll Do

• Support production and manufacturing activities for aerospace control systems and electronic control units.
• Investigate technical issues, evaluate design changes, and develop/release Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, certification, testing, configuration management, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
• Review and maintain engineering drawings, build-to-print documentation, and supplier designs.
• Ensure components and supplier designs meet applicable engineering standards and requirements.
• Support component integration, configuration management, design revisions, and obsolescence activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and engineering teams on technical issues, deliverables, schedules, and project milestones.
• Prepare technical documentation and support engineering reviews, testing, and product support activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. , U.S. Permanent , or otherwise eligible under U.S. Export Control regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems engineering and the systems development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of aerospace electronics, control systems, sensors, actuators, fuel/hydraulic systems, or electromechanical products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and systems.
