With the business continuing to scale, the volume and complexity of controls activity is increasing significantly, making this a particularly exciting time to join and make a lasting impact.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nAs Controls Manager, you'll take ownership of the internal controls landscape across the manufacturing sites.

You'll act as a key partner to finance and operational teams, ensuring robust governance, compliance, and high-quality financial reporting.\n\nYou'll also collaborate with an international network of finance professionals, contributing to global initiatives and best practice sharing across multiple regions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the end-to-end internal controls framework, including risk assessments, control design, and effectiveness testing\nAct as the go-to expert on internal controls and corporate governance, supporting both finance and non-finance teams\nIdentify control gaps and risks, driving timely and effective remediation plans\nPlay a central role in audit readiness, acting as a key contact for internal and external reviews\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and strengthen controls\nOversee and review controls testing outputs, ensuring consistency and quality across teams\nSupport balance sheet integrity through regular reviews and challenge of accounting judgements\nLead quarterly accounting review cycles, including stakeholder presentations and follow-ups\nContribute to wider strategic projects, including global assessments and policy standardisation \n\nAbout You\n\nWe're looking for a confident, commercially aware finance professional who combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills.\n\nYou'll bring:\n\nA recognised accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent)\nExperience within a manufacturing or similarly complex environment\nStrong background in internal controls, audit, or compliance frameworks \nA proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the confidence to challenge and influenceYou'll stand out if you:\n\nBuild credibility quickly across diverse teams\nTake ownership and see initiatives through to completion\nAre naturally curious, with a focus on continuous improvement\nDemonstrate integrity and sound judgement in all situations \n\nWhy Apply?\n\nThis is an opportunity to shape the financial governance of a growing manufacturing business while working closely with senior leadership.
