A multinational company with their customer near Sterling Heights, Michigan is currently seeking a Controls Hardware Project Engineer for long-term opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Controls Engineers with solid EPlan experience looking for a position that offers minimal travel, excellent management, career growth, development, and competitive rates.

Controls Hardware Project Engineers will be working full-time day shift, and rates are anticipated to be between $40-60/hour (with 1.5 overtime over 40 hours) based on each candidate's experience and education. Qualified Controls Hardware Project Engineers will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related degree.

·         3+ years of recent/relevant controls hardware design and process leading experience with CNC machinery, powertrain assembly, fluid fill or closely related.

·         Proficiency with electrical hardware design using Eplan is required.

·         Experience with pneumatics or hydraulic design is strongly , but not required.

·         Travel is anticipated to be a maximum of about 10% overnight for customer meetings and site visits. Trips will be primarily 2-5 days.

·         Must be able to work in the United Stated (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).

·         Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
