Overview:

This is a Contract-to-Hire Controls Hardware Designer role in Detroit, MI, focused on hardware design and documentation using EPLAN and AutoCAD. Candidates with GM/Ford standard experience are .

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop controls hardware documentation and layouts
• Create and maintain electrical schematics using EPLAN and AutoCAD
• Support hardware design standards for automotive manufacturing environments
• Collaborate with engineering teams on control panel and hardware design deliverables
• Apply automotive industry standards (GM/Ford) where applicable

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of controls hardware design experience
• EPLAN experience
• AutoCAD experience highly desired
• Automotive experience (GM/Ford standards) a plus
• No degree required — experience-based role
