We are looking for Control Engineers that must be able to perform the design and field startup of control systems for automotive manufacturing. Experience in industries related to the automotive industry and electrical controls are highly desired. Demonstrated trouble shooting skills are necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
Will have a minimum of 3 years relevant industry design experience with automotive conveyor systems and robot cells, including system architecture, schematic diagrams and control panel design
Proven design experience on (recent) large automotive projects
Detailed knowledge of industrial conveyor systems in automotive assembly, Robotic programming and Vision systems (Cognex/Keyence)
Technical knowledge, certification and skills:
AutoCAD, Eplan
Rockwell and Siemens PLC & HMI, Mitsubishi PLC
Industrial networks (Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profinet, CCLink)
Variable speed drives (Rockwell, Siemens, SEW)
Technical knowledge/skills in the following is considered an asset: Ford NextGen & GVOSS standards; GM G12 & G16 standards, Microsoft Office Suite
Capable of assisting with installation
Debugging PLC & HMI with no additional support
Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
Able to travel to customer sites for extended periods
Must be fluent Spanish English TOEFL 70, with excellent oral and written communications skills
