Controls Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The primary objective of this position is to design, implement, and optimize control systems for industrial applications, particularly in material handling and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics integration and networking to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems for industrial automation projects.
• Integrate robotics solutions into existing material handling processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop system specifications and schematics.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Utilize software tools such as SolidWorks and Eplan for design and documentation.
• Provide technical support for PLC programming and configuration, including Rockwell and Siemens systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and industry regulations throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in controls engineering within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Familiarity with robotic systems such as Kawasaki, Fanuc, KUKA, UR, and ABB.
• Experience with networking protocols including Ethernet/IP and Profinet.
• Proficient in CAD software including SolidWorks and Eplan is a plus! 
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and design documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
