Salary: £58,000

Shift: Monday - Friday Days

We are currently recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer to join an established manufacturing site in Rotherham.

\n

This is a project-focused role with some maintenance support, working on automation, PLC systems and improvements to production machinery.

\n

The role:

\n

• PLC programming and fault finding
\n • Working with Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and Mitsubishi GX Works
\n • PLC, HMI and SCADA systems
\n • Supporting automation and control system improvements
\n • Managing electrical and controls projects from installation through to commissioning
\n • Working with contractors and suppliers
\n • Root cause analysis and fault finding
\n • Supporting maintenance and production teams
\n • Improving machinery, processes and equipment
\n • Working with instrumentation and 4-20mA signals
\n • Recording work using the site's maintenance system
\n • Occasional overseas travel

\n

You will need:

\n

• HNC, HND or equivalent engineering qualification
\n • Strong electrical and control systems experience
\n • PLC programming experience
\n • Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi experience
\n • Experience with HMI and SCADA systems
\n • Good fault-finding skills
\n • Experience with industrial machinery and automation
\n • Good understanding of electrical systems
\n • Able to work independently and as part of a team
\n • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

\n

Experience in a medium or heavy manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
