Job Title : Controls Engineer -Stamping.

Type: Long term.

Location: Arlington, TX USA

Job description:

  • This is a long-term project opportunity for an experienced Controls Engineer with a strong background in stamping operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and commission industrial control systems, including PLC software and HMI screens, across various industries and environments.
  • Develop PLC/HMI code, install and debug software on-site, and commission complete control systems.
  • Program peripheral devices and machine PLCs.
  • Coordinate machine debugging, power-up, and validation activities in collaboration with build and electrical teams.
  • Ensure all systems are designed and programmed according to customer requirements and build specifications, using standard engineering practices and methodologies.


Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
  • 3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, including PLC and HMI programming.
  • Proven experience working with stamping systems.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with GCCS Standards.
  • Experience with GM stamping operations.


Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ( fields include Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline).
  • Equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree.
