Overview

Seeking a Controls Engineer with Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) experience to support high-tech semiconductor facility projects. This role focuses on tool installation, PLC systems, and facility control systems within a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering oversight during installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Review and support PLC, instrumentation, and control system designs
• Work with systems including:
• • Fire alarm systems
  • Chemical control systems
  • Toxic Gas Monitoring (TGM) systems
• Develop and review technical specifications and design documents
• Review vendor submittals for compliance with project requirements and codes
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Support final system integration and installation activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (ABET )
• 5+ years of experience with industrial control systems / PLCs
• Experience with instrumentation, controls, and system integration
• Knowledge of:
• • IFC (International Fire Code)
  • IMC (International Mechanical Code)
  • UL and IEEE standards
• Experience reviewing technical designs and vendor documentation
• Strong communication and coordination skills

• EIT or PE license
• Experience in semiconductor or cleanroom environments
• Field experience working with construction teams or subcontractors
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit
• Experience with facility systems, process controls, or TGM systems
