DEKA Research and Development, housed in Manchester, NH, has an amazing opportunity for a passionate Controls Engineer. While collaborating within their team, engineers will:
- Develop and maintain control systems for innovative medical and robotic products; write software on a ROS operating system; and write software in C++ for vision systems and for navigation and planning.
- Develop and design new prototype devices using software robotic operating system; use system design and integration as well as linear (PID Controllers)/non-linear control system design techniques.
- Design systems using mechanical, electrical design and software development skills; and model systems using Python programming .
- Develop medical devices according to FDA design practices.
- Perform failure mode analysis on control systems.
Requirements:
The minimum educational requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering and two years of experience in any suitable occupation related to Control Engineering. Experience within both the Electrical and Mechanical disciplines is required.
Experience must include at least:
- 1 year of experience with Controls, ROS, vision navigation and planning
- 1 year of experience with Python and C++
- 1 year of experience using PID controllers.
