Role Description The Controls Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jonesboro, AR. This position is responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning industrial control systems, including PLCs, motion control, and robotics, for manufacturing and process environments. Day-to-day tasks include developing control logic and electrical schematics, configuring field devices, troubleshooting system issues, and optimizing process performance. The Controls Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support maintenance and operations personnel, and prepare technical documentation such as drawings, manuals, and test procedures. The role also involves participating in project planning, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards, and providing on-site support during startup and system upgrades.\n
Qualifications

• Strong Process Control skills, including design, implementation, and optimization of automated industrial processes.

• Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, including reading schematics, specifying components, and working with industrial control hardware.

• Demonstrated Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving control system, instrumentation, and electrical issues.

\n

• Experience with Motion Control systems, such as servo drives, variable frequency drives, and coordinated axis control.

\n

• Robotics skills, including programming, integration, and maintenance of industrial robotic systems.

\n

• Proficiency with PLC and HMI programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, or similar platforms) and familiarity with industrial communication protocols.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

\n

• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, manage multiple projects, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
