We have a Controls Engineer available in Gilbert, AZ. This position entails developing PLC/SCADA/HMI programming skills through process automation and controls projects. The will be exposed to industrial software applications (industrial standard S88), GMP and GAMP5, read and understand P&IDs, high-level project management, and system integration (PLC/hardware, IT, etc).
Major Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control system logic software to meet process, machine, and integrated system requirements.
- Develop control logic software and user interface applications.
- Assist with debugging integrated systems and the development of system documentation.
- Work on automation and control system integration projects for clients in pharma/biotech.
- Adheres to scope, quality, schedule, and budget requirements of assigned tasks
- Develops collaborative partnerships with colleagues
Minimum Requirements
Education
BS Electrical Engineering, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, or BS Computer Engineering is .
Experience
Undergraduate with an interest in pursuing a career in Controls Engineering.
- Preference is given to candidates with an understanding of or exposure to control systems - components, programming, and their applications. Not Required.
- Preference is given to candidates with an understanding of or exposure to instrumentation and controls design. Not required.
Physical Demands of Position
Writing, computer work, variable travel amounts, fieldwork in industrial settings, seeing, perception, hearing, clear speech, dexterity in hands, driving, lifting, climbing, and ability to mount and dismount equipment, pushing, and pulling.
