Job Description
We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer. You will be responsible for programming, configuring, and starting up control systems, particularly Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs. Your role will involve working closely with field teams to ensure smooth system integration and operation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong field experience are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, program, and implement process control systems, focusing on Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs.
·Configure and integrate HMIs to provide operational control and system visibility.
·Collaborate with field teams during system start-ups, ensuring proper installation and operation of control systems.
· Provide on-site troubleshooting and support for control systems, addressing any issues that arise during commissioning and operation.
·Develop detailed control system drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
·Ensure that all systems meet regulatory and safety requirements.
·Communicate effectively with project teams, ensuring that control system designs align with overall project objectives.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
·Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs, including programming and configuration.
· Strong field experience in water/wastewater process control systems .
· Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing control system layouts and schematics.
· Experience in system start-ups and troubleshooting in a field environment.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
