Job Description

Job Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Coleshill
Salary: £56,000 – £65,000 per annum DOE
Shifts: Days 7am-3pm flexi-time if required

Controls Engineer Responsibilities:

• Programme SIemens PLC's - TIA OR Classic Simatic Step 7

\n

• Support and develop automation systems, including ABB robots.

\n

• Assist with electrical fault finding and modifications across production lines.

\n

• Deliver preventative and reactive maintenance on controls/electrical systems.

\n

• Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to optimise automation performance.

\n

• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and support new equipment commissioning.

\n

Controls Engineer Experience:

\n
• 3 years as a controls engineer working on Siemens

\n

• Skilled in Siemens S7 PLC programming

\n

• Electrically qualified (Level 3).

\n

• Experience in high-volume production environments (automotive , but other sectors considered).
