Working for a familyowned business that supply a range of products into the manufacturing sector, making this a very stable and secure comapny to join. Due to the nature of products they are manufacturing, health and safety is at the forefront of their processes.
**Responsibilities**
* Maintenance – Diagnose and rectify control system failures.
* Project work – Design, specification, and installation of control and safety systems (PLCs, DCS, SCADA, HMI, etc.).
* Management of Change – Review/approval of MOC proposals and subsequent programming and modification of control systems.
* Safety, Health & Environmental – To maintain and promote a safe operating culture within the E&I Department ensuring that in all its aspects of installation and maintenance it operates to the highest levels of safety and meets all legal and statutory requirements, company rules and procedures.
* Training - To assist with the development and training of department resource in control systems.
**Requirements**
* HNC in Controls Engineer or similar is essential
* Manufacturing experience is essential
* PLC Programming is essential (Ideally AB)
