Title: Sr. Controls Engineer

Location: Aurora, OH

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, automation or machine design. We are seeking a senior level candidate you can help guide and support the rest of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for industrial automation projects.
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and related control hardware.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of control systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to define project requirements and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and instrumentation.
  • Create and maintain documentation including schematics, functional specifications, and user manuals.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on control systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in PLC programming and/or control system design or machine design
  • Familiarity with automation technologies and project management principles.
  • Knowledge of industrial standards and safety regulations.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Modbus, and Ethernet communications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for schematic design.
  • Understanding of motor control systems, including VFDs and servos.
  • Experience with instrumentation, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.
