Controls Engineer (Allen Bradley / Process Engineering)
£48,000 - £50,000 + Weekdays + Day Shift + 25 Days Holiday + Project Based
Dudley, Birmingham
Are you a Controls Engineer, Systems Engineer or Instrumentation Engineer from a Process Engineering/Chemical background looking for a varied, days-based role where you'll be recognised as a technical expert?
Do you want a role where you'll be working on new projects day-in, day-out on a large industrial site with recent CAPEX investment?
In this role you'll be working in a specialist controls and instrumentation team in an ATEX environment. The role will involve working mostly with Allen Bradley PLC's, HMI's and instrumentation, and will be a mix of routine maintenance, installation and line adaptations. As a Controls Specialist, you'll be responsible for programming and commissioning.
This company are a long-standing manufacturer and operate a large site in North East Birmingham. They pride themselves on their safety record and comradery, with all teams being specialists in their own sectors.
This role would suit a Controls Engineer, Systems Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer or similar from a Process Engineering environment looking for a days based role and to be recognised as a technical expert.
The Role:

- Programming, modifying and commissioning Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's
- Checking and calibrating instrumentation
- Mix of maintenance and project based work - constantly evolving
- Adhering to international Functional Safety Standards~
- Monday - Friday, Days based, 40 hours per week
