What You’ll Do:

As a Siemens Controls Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative and reliable automation solutions to a wide range of industries. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Designing, programming, and configuring Siemens S7 for process automation.
  • Developing intuitive control logic, HMI/SCADA applications, and process sequences tailored to client specifications.
  • Leading integration, testing, and on-site commissioning of systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving S7 hardware and software challenges with confidence.
  • Continuously improving control strategies to enhance efficiency, safety, and system reliability.
  • Collaborating with electrical engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Producing clear and thorough technical documentation, including functional design specs and operation manuals.
  • Training end-users and maintenance teams to ensure ongoing success.
  • Upholding industry standards and safety best practices in every project.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or a combination of industry experience and education
  • 3+ years of experience working with Siemens S7 in an industrial automation environment.
  • Solid understanding of S7 architecture, S7 PLCs (S7-400/S7-1500), WinCC, and Profibus/Profinet networks.
  • Familiarity with batch processes, redundancy systems, and SIS is a big plus.
  • The ability to interpret P&IDs, schematics, and control diagrams with ease.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% during the work week for on-site support and commissioning.
