Job Title: Controls Engineer\n\nSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum\n\nLocation: Belvedere\n\nAbout the role:\n\nWe are seeking a qualified and motivated Control Engineer with proven experience in large power industry projects in the UK. This permanent role involves contributing expertise to the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems for power projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with the Engineering Director on diverse projects.\n\nKey Areas of Expertise:\n\n * \n\n Industrial automation, PLCs, and SCADA systems (Allen Bradley highly desirable).\n\n * \n\n Control system design and optimization.\n\n * \n\n Distributed Control Systems (DCS).\n\n * \n\n Industrial Ethernet networks and topologies.\n\n * \n\n Application of engineering and computing critical thinking skills.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Lead and collaborate on the design, development, and implementation of control systems for large-scale power facilities.\n\n * \n\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated engineering solutions.\n\n * \n\n Manage projects from initial design studies through electrical DC/AC design, panel manufacture, PLC software, and SCADA design/programming.\n\n * \n\n Oversee testing, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems.\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.\n\n * \n\n Engage with clients to understand needs and exceed expectations.\n\n * \n\n Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing.\n\nQualifications and Experience:\n\n * \n\n Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Industrial Automation, Automation and Control, or a closely related field.\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Control Engineer on large power industry projects in the UK.\n\n * \n\n Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems.\n\n * \n\n Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results\n\n * \n\n in a fast-paced environment.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.\n\n * \n\n Must have 2 years minimum power experience.\n\nBenefits:\n\n28 days holiday including bank holidays\n\nHours - 40 per week - 8 - 4.30pm\n\nPrivate pension\n\nTravel allowance up to 6k per year\n\nPlease call or email me a copy of your CV\n\nMany thanks\n\nKevin
