• Main duties of the Controls Engineer include:PLC and HMI programming
• Leading automation projects from design to installation
• Providing technical support on plant servers and networks
• Installing new traceability packages such as Ignition, Rockwell NGT2 and PLEX
• Lead plant expansion and capital equipment projects
• Use AutoCAD to design machine control systems and plant layout to improve material flow
• Writing capital expenditure requests, then ensure completion of project with the necessary equipment
• Program Fanuc robotics systems

• Qualifications include:BS in an engineering field
• Strong electrical controls experience
• Experience with Rockwell Automation software and components (RSLogix 500/5000, FactoryTalk View, FactoryTalk Transaction Manager, Kinetix Drives, Ethernet and DeviceNET communication protocols
• PLC/HMI/Robotics programming experience
• Experience designing controls systems using CAD
