Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and program control systems, including PLCs and HMIs (Beckhoff, Siemens etc.).

* Develop and program robots (ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, etc.).

* Develop and program off the shelf vision systems and laser markers.

* Develop bespoke machine vision applications using python.

* Integrate servo motors, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial sensors.

* Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of automation systems.

* Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scope and timelines.

* Stay updated on advancements in industrial automation technology.

* Provide technical support and guidance during installation and maintenance.

* Document project details, specifications, and design changes

* Nice to have - panel build experience

Requirements:

* Based in the North West

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

* Controls experience, including PLC programming and HMIs

* Experience in an automation environment

* Proficiency in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

* Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

* Python experience.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

* Able to work on- and off-site

* Able to travel UK wide and stay at a site for a duration of time

* Valid driver’s license
