Controls Engineer
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client, a leader in the water purification system industry, is searching for an experienced Controls Engineer to design, program, and maintain control systems for high-purity water purification at client sites. This role involves programming and optimizing systems to meet strict technical and regulatory standards for quality, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement control systems, including PLC and HMI programming, for water purification applications.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
- Conduct comprehensive system testing, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for system operation and troubleshooting.
- Work directly with clients to ensure ongoing system support.
- Handle quotation and budgeting of controls-related items within each project.
- Provide technical training and support to clients and internal staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering, mechatronics, or a similar role.
- Skilled in PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control components and systems, including analyzers, sensors, valves, power supplies, wiring devices, variable frequency drives, and motor control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
