Advanced-Poly-Packaging, Inc. in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio is seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team!

Pay is dependent on skills and experience. General starting wages listed.

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated equipment and machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for control system issues in the field.
• Develop and maintain control system documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test plans.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and optimization to meet performance and safety standards.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure timelines and specifications are met.

Qualifications: 

• 5 Years Experience
• IEC 61131-3 Programming (Structured Text)
• Motion Control Experience (PLC Open)
• Familiar with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Beckhoff TwinCAT Experience a Plus
