Controls Electrical Engineer

Join a global engineering business at the forefront of EV, Industry 4.0 and sustainable manufacturing. As a Control Systems Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical design, PLC/HMI programming, and full system integration for bespoke industrial equipment.

What you’ll do:

\n

• Design and develop control systems from scratch (electrical & software)

\n

• Write PLC/HMI programs (Siemens TIA Portal and Allen Bradley)

\n

• Lead commissioning, FAT/SAT, and on-site installation

\n

• Manage technical documentation, ensure compliance to 18th Edition

\n

• Work closely with project, build, and service teams to deliver fully integrated solutions

\n

What we’re looking for:

\n

• 5 years’ experience in control systems for special purpose machinery

\n

• Strong PLC/HMI development skills (Siemens & Rockwell essential)

\n

• Solid knowledge of Profinet, Ethernet/IP, motion control and electrical standards

\n

• HNC or above in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition qualified

\n
