Job Description
Job role: Control Systems Engineer\n\nBasic - £55,000 + Overtime + Yearly Bonus + Training Opportunities\n\nMonday - Friday - DAY SHIFT\n\nOur client, a leading specialist gas power company, with facilities across the country, are looking for a experienced control systems engineer to manage all site maintenance and installation of production machinery, automated Machinery, robotics, control systems.\n\nThe main responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer will include.\n\n * Ensuring all control, instrumentation, systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably\n\n * Performing maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices\n\n * Installation, commissioning, and full setup of new equipment and control systems\n\n * Control system programming and configuration (DCS, PLC, and associated safety systems)\n\n * PLC setup, programming, modification, and troubleshooting\n\n * Configuration and maintenance of HMI and SCADA systems\n\n * Electrical fault finding on low, medium, and high-voltage auxiliary systems\n\n * Electrical wiring, panel termination, and control cabinet modifications\n\n * Supporting plant outages, shutdowns, and return-to-service activities\n\nSkills / Experience / Qualifications Required:\n\n * NVQ level 3 in an Electrical discipline\n\n * 18th Edition\n\n * Experience on PLC Systems and Relays.\n\n * Experience as a Electrical Engineer / EC&I Engineer / E&I Engineer / Maintenance Electrician / Multi Skilled Engineer\n\n * Experience of Electrical maintenance within any of the following backgrounds - Gas / Manufacturing / Pharmaceuticals / Manufacturing / Chemical / Power / Power / Generator / CHP Units / Biogas\n\nIf you are interested in this Control Systems Engineer vacancy, please submit an up-to-date CV through this advert
