Job Title: Control Systems Engineer (SCADA Focus)\n Sector: Defence\n Location: Southwest London\n Contract Type: Contract (6 months initial, likely extension)\n Rate: £400 per day (negotiable depending on experience)\n\nOverview\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer with a strong SCADA background to join a leading organisation within the Defence sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical systems in a highly secure and technically challenging environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain SCADA systems for defence-related projects\nWork with Siemens control systems, particularly WinCC OA (ETM)\nDevelop and implement software solutions using C# and/or C++\nSupport system integration, testing, and commissioning activities\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust solutions\nTroubleshoot and optimise system performance\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience working with WinCC OA (ETM / Siemens)\nStrong programming skills in C# and/or C++\nExperience in control systems engineering within regulated or high-security environments\nSolid understanding of SCADA architectures and industrial control systems\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n\nDesirable\n\nPrevious experience within the Defence sector\nFamiliarity with secure systems or safety-critical environments\n\nAdditional Information\n\nCandidates may be required to undergo security clearance (SC)\nCompetitive daily rate, dependent on experience\nStrong likelihood of contract extension beyond the initial 6 months
