Excellent opportunities for Senior Control Engineers to join a skilled team providing technical development of warehouse automation solutions. We are looking for candidates with the ability to mentor Junior Engineers alongside developing & commissioning solutions.



Senior Control Systems Engineer – The Role:



Control projects from concept, completing functional design specifications, software design using Siemens equipment (PLC, HMI, SCADA)

Overseeing & completing installation & commissioning activities

Approx. 70% office work – 30% Site - mainly UK & Ireland with occasional EU. The aim is for this to reduce as the team expands



Control Systems Engineers – The Person:



Flexibility to complete commissioning phases

Proven ability to develop PLC software from scratch alongside all relevant documentation

MUST have Siemens TIA portal experience v18 as a minimum

Good knowledge of electrical schematic drawings and electrical safety circuits essential

Background of developing systems within intra-logistics, baggage handling or FMCG



You will join a leader in their field as they look to bring strength and structure to their automation team.



These roles are based in the East Midlands, commutable from within and around Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Grantham.  Hybrid working IS available for these roles. Site work can be in the UK and the EU and currently sits about 50/50. As the team expands, this should reduce to 60% office, 40% site. This is an established business with a new head of Engineering who is keen to create a positive environment alongside a good work/life balance.



This position would suit an experienced Control Systems Engineer, Automation Engineer, PLC Software Engineer or Systems Software Engineer.
