Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Control System Engineer with hands-on experience in programming PLC systems from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Rockwell Automation platforms and capable of designing, implementing, and supporting industrial control systems across various applications. This role offers flexibility to work remotely or onsite depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and program PLC systems from scratch, primarily using Rockwell Automation tools (Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, etc.).

• Create and modify HMI and SCADA systems.

• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate control systems into larger processes.

• Perform system testing, debugging, and commissioning—both remotely and onsite.

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation including control narratives, logic diagrams, and system manuals.

• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.

• Ensure all control systems comply with applicable safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs from scratch, with a strong focus on Rockwell Automation.

• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and in team environments.

• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (if remote).

• Experience with other PLC platforms (Siemens, Omron, etc.) is a plus.

• Familiarity with robotics, motion control, or data acquisition systems.

• Knowledge of electrical schematics and control panel design.
