Control System Design Engineer

Our client is a market-leading company in a niche sector who have been established for over 60 years. They specialise in the supply, manufacture, design, installation, and service of engineering equipment. The company is currently recruiting for a Control System Design Engineer to join their team, where you will be responsible for producing schematic designs using various software. You must have a driving license to apply for this role due to the location of the company.

  

Job Description for the Control System Design Engineer:  



Produce schematic designs using EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical

Ensure the bill of materials is produced for manufacturing to meet client requirements

Liaise with clients and suppliers to offer the most effective performance and expertise in design, and maintain an excellent rapport

Use PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, and other control products and designs

Attend various sites

Telemetry interrogation and support Requirements for the Control System Design Engineer role: 



Must have knowledge of the industry and a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role

Experience using Electrical CAD packages is essential

Familiarity with VSD and soft start technology

Knowledge of computer control panels

Must have experience using panel design, assembly, and wiring

Experience with SCADA, networks, and telemetry principles is desirable

Must have strong organisational skills and be able to manage their own workload

Be able to work in a fast-paced role

A driving licence is essential  Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Salary: DOE
